first day of my primary school

It's kinda random post.
I was having my tea at Joo Mui as usual and flipping the newspaper. There's a page reporting the first day of different schools all over Malaysia. One particular pic rather inspired me to blog about.
A 7 years old kid shaking her neighbor's hand. That is the true moment that changes your entire life, the very first friend you met and keeps counting. The friendship you made when you were so naive, not because he is handsome, she is pretty or rich or powerful, purely because he's your neighbor and sincerely, you said : Hi, I'm Tai Hau, you are?

Everyone has childhood friends. Me, no exception. Im so lucky to stay in this small town that all my childhood friends or most of them are my secondary school friends and until now, close friends. Of course, not every story has good ending. Some, moved out in secondary schools and lost contact. Some took another path in studies, sooner the topic and things experience vary , thus became strangers.

Back to the topic. SO these friends I met since primary school, no no , even since kindergarten (forgive my small town that has limited kindergartens). They are my friends, classmate, first person I fall for, followed by second, third, etc, people we fought with, people we competed with for the class ranking, quarrel, cold war, most importantly, people we grew up with.
And this magical chemistry bond between childhood friends always make me feel that I'm not alone. I have childhood, I have people to back me up,I have people to party with, those trustworthy ones.

Can't find much photos but good enough to keep the memory fresh.
